If every elected official in West Hempstead says the Courtesy should be padlocked and demolished, then why the heck is the hotel still open and operating?
Something is terribly wrong here, when a dozen or more years go by and our community is still plagued with the same problems.
By the way -- I have e-mailed Town Supervisor Kate Murray serveral times, and even called her so-called "Helpline," all to no avail.
All I ever get is a form letter thanking me for my concern, etcetera, etcetera.
The Town of Hempstead obviously dropped the ball as concerns closing the Courtesy.
I hope West Hempstead voters don't do likewise in November when the Supervisor asks us to return her to office!
